Brentford vs Chelsea: Anytime goalscorer – Kevin Schade @ 3.45

Schade is enjoying a fabulous start to the new Premier League season with three goals in four matches. The German forward netted twice in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, and now his eyes will be firmly fixed on Chelsea’s leaky defence. The Blues are yet to keep a clean sheet in the top flight, with Xabi Alonso’s men conceding 10 times in the previous four matches across all competitions. Schade scored the last time Chelsea visited the Gtech Stadium – and backing him to repeat the feat looks a great pre-match move.

Tottenham vs Aston Villa: Total goals – Under 2.5 @ 1.90

Four of the last five Premier League matches hosted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium saw under 2.5 goals scored, and all signs point toward another low-scoring affair in North London. Spurs drew 0-0 in each of their previous two top-flight encounters and are actually yet to score in the league this season. Aston Villa’s record is not much better, with just one goal netted – Alysson Santos’ strike in last weekend’s 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest. Throw in the added pressure of an upcoming international break and this contest could be cagey in the extreme, with the two stuttering attacks struggling to generate chances and goals.

Everton vs Ipswich: Player to score or assist – Leif Davis @ 5.30

Okay, this is a bold shout, but hear us out. Davis is enjoying a superb start to the campaign, tallying two goals and two assists in five appearances across all competitions. The flying left-back is thriving in Gary O’Neil’s system and will look to target an area of concern for Everton. Right-back has been a source of issue for quite some time now, even with the acquisition of Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the summer. So taking a punt on Davis to record yet another key contribution on the road – with three of the four so far coming away from Portman Road – could be a rich source of profit this weekend.

Brighton vs Arsenal: Player to score or assist – Pascal Gross @ 4.20

Yes, Arsenal’s defence is the meanest and best in the Premier League, but even so Gross being priced at 4.20 in this market feels almost too good to be true. Brighton scored eight goals in their previous two games, with the magnificent Gross playing a key role in four of them (2G, 2A). Furthermore, the German midfielder scored and assisted the last time the Seagulls took on London opposition at Chelsea, albeit in a 4-3 loss. As such, even Arsenal’s ludicrously strong back-line may struggle to limit Gross’ influence, while the 35-year-old being Brighton’s set-piece specialist and designated penalty taker only strengthens the appeal of the bet.

Nottingham Forest vs Coventry: Nottingham Forest total goals – Over 1.5 @ 1.62

A well-rested Nottingham Forest side must be licking their lips at facing Coventry’s porous defence. Frank Lampard’s side arrive at the City Ground on the back of consecutive heavy defeats vs Brighton (0-5) in the league and Aston Villa (1-3) in the EFL Cup. So Oliver Glasner and his Forest team will really fancy their chances of scoring at least two goals for the third time in four games. Morgan Gibbs-White is in great form with three contributions already to his name, while summer signing Liam Delap rediscovered the scoring touch at Villa Park weekend. If the Tricky Trees grab an early goal, you fear for out-of-sorts Coventry here.
