Shamrock Rovers are edging ever closer to a spot in the League Phase of the 2026-27 Europa League season.
The Irish Premier Division champions – and current table leaders – are 3-1 up in their Third Qualifying Round tie vs KF Egnatia of Albania.
Stephen Bradley’s side delivered a clinical display at the Tallaght Stadium last week, with second-half goals from Roberto Lopes and Aaron Greene securing a crucial victory after Guillem Jaime had initially cancelled out Graham Burke’s opener.

KF Egnatia vs Shamrock Rovers Preview
KF Egnatia were initially in the 2026-27 Champions League qualifiers, thrashing Petrocub 7-2 on aggregate in the first round.
But the reigning Albanian champions crashed out in the second phase after suffering a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Celje, which followed a thrilling 5-5 draw on aggregate.
So now it is the Europa League or bust, and the aforementioned 3-1 loss in Dublin could prove fatal to their European aspirations.
Shamrock were also in the Champions League qualifying rounds, but a 3-2 defeat to Aarat-Armenia eventually saw them eliminated.
Now Bradley’s men have the tough task of juggling Europa League and Irish Premier Division commitments, although it is something which is going quite well so far.
After the 3-1 first-leg win over Egnatia, Shamrock beat Dundalk 3-2 at the Tallaght Stadium on the weekend, extending their top-flight unbeaten run to six games.

KF Egnatia vs Shamrock Rovers Betting Tips
Double chance – Shamrock Rovers win or draw @ 1.70
The pressure is firmly on KF Egnatia in front of their own fans. A two-goal deficit means the home side simply have to go for it from the referee’s first whistle, and this should leave plenty of space for Shamrock to exploit. The Irish team lost their last two away matches in European competition, but both of those were the first legs of the respective ties vs Floriana and Aarat-Armenia. With a significant lead heading into a second leg, we fancy things to be different in Rrogozhine.
Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.60
But while we are backing Shamrock to pick up a positive result in Albania, the BTTS market also looks like one worth pursuing. This selection has landed in each of Egnatia’s last five competitive games, as well as in five of Shamrock’s last seven matches across all competitions. Backing it again, whether as a single or part of a combo, looks a solid route to profit.
