Aston Villa vs Manchester City: Anytime goalscorer – Erling Haaland @ 1.77

Haaland was given a full rest in Man City’s 5-1 victory over AEK Athens in the Champions League, and Enzo Maresca has confirmed the striker is ready to start Saturday’s early kick-off. Haaland is the Premier League’s top scorer this season (shock) with eight goals from seven appearances, including a brace in last weekend’s 3-2 victory over Ipswich. Surprisingly, Haaland actually has a poor record vs Villa with just one goal scored in five appearances, though that could change here. Unai Emery’s men are yet to keep a clean sheet at home in the top flight, recently conceding twice vs Nottingham Forest (1-2) and Brentford (2-2). Over to you, Erling.

Arsenal vs Everton: Total goals – Under 2.5 @ 1.91

It is a quick turnaround here for Arsenal following their trip to Bayern Munich (2-2) in the Champions League. And that situation adds further appeal to a selection focused on a low number of goals at the Emirates, especially as Everton are likely to operate in a deep block. Arsenal usually find the back of the net against stubborn defences, though racking up the goals is not something you really associate with Mikel Arteta’s side. Furthermore, under 2.5 goals landed in four of Everton’s last five games across all competitions, so it looks well worth backing again.

Chelsea vs Tottenham: Anytime goalscorer – Joao Pedro @ 1.97

Wagering on a Pedro goal at Stamford Bridge has been a lucrative betting path in 2026-27. The Brazilian scored in all three top-flight games hosted at Chelsea’s stadium, tallying four strikes and two assists overall – a superb return. This weekend he takes on Tottenham, a wounded rival which he has fond memories of playing against. In three previous appearances against the North Londoners, Pedro scored three times and with Spurs failing to keep a clean sheet in the last four games, we expect him to wreak more final-third havoc. Pedro to score the first goal of the contest is priced at 4.30, if you are feeling lucky!

Liverpool vs Brighton: Player to score or assist – Diego Gomez @ 2.80

Pascal Gross is perhaps the standout option in this market from a Brighton perspective, but Gomez could be the smart play. Unlike Gross, the Paraguayan – who scored a ridiculous goal from the half-way line vs Crystal Palace (5-0) last weekend – was afforded a full rest for Thursday’s Europa Conference League game at Jablonec (0-0). So he will be fit and fresh for Liverpool at Anfield, with Gomez scoring in two of his last three Premier League appearances. Andoni Iraola’s Reds shipped three goals at home to Villarreal on Tuesday, albeit in a 4-3 win, and have conceded seven times in the last three games hosted at Anfield. Defence is perhaps not Liverpool’s strong suit right now, so Brighton and Gomez could continue their astonishing start to the campaign, with the Seagulls entering Matchday 8 in third place!

Manchester United vs Bournemouth: Draw no bet – Bournemouth @ 2.28

We were stunned when we saw Manchester United listed as the favourites to win this match. It feels as if the algorithms are focusing on club history, rather than recent performances – but it means there is serious value to be had with regard to a positive Bournemouth result. Man Utd were thrashed 4-1 by Como in the Champions League on Wednesday, making it seven games without a win for under-pressure Michael Carrick. In stark contrast, Bournemouth enjoyed perhaps the biggest night in their lifetime on Thursday by beating AC Milan 3-0 in the Europa League, making it three wins on the spin following results against Sturm Graz (3-0) and Sunderland (2-0). So the Cherries will be full of confidence and can certainly take full advantage of what could be a pretty toxic atmosphere at Old Trafford. Bournemouth are also unbeaten in their last three visits to the stadium, winning two of those matches 3-0!
