Leeds vs Tottenham: Draw no bet – Tottenham @ 1.82

It is not a surprise to see these two teams so closely matched in terms of odds in the Match Result market, though recent form points at only one team – Tottenham. Since beating Newcastle 4-1 at Elland Road, Leeds have gone five matches without a win following last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth, scoring just two goals in that timeframe. In stark contrast, Tottenham are on a three-match winning streak courtesy of crucial victories over Coventry (3-1), Chelsea (0-2) and Crystal Palace (2-0). Furthermore, Spurs won on each of their last three trips to Elland Road, so siding with Roberto De Zerbi’s men here feels like the smart play.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City: Anytime goalscorer – Erling Haaland @ 1.72

Haaland has not scored in his last four matches against Nottingham Forest, a quite surprising stat for someone of his undeniable stature. But as per usual, he feels like the man to back here, with his blank against Brighton last weekend bringing an end to a seven-match goalscoring run in the Premier League. The Norwegian returned to his usual ways against RB Leipzig on Wednesday with the crucial winning goal, and this is a Forest team without a clean sheet in six matches. Erling, the stage known as the City Ground is yours to light up!

Chelsea to beat Sunderland @ 1.94

Sunderland are rock bottom of the Premier League, winless in seven top-flight games and reeling from a demoralising 2-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League on Thursday night. Furthermore, that loss also means additional fatigue in the legs of Regis Le Bris’ players, far from ideal ahead of a match against a fresh Chelsea team capable of blowing any opponent away. Yes, Joao Pedro may be out injured, but Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer each scored last weekend vs Manchester United, with Estevao also a standout performer. If Xabi Alonso’s men emulate certain past performances by scoring early, you really do fear for Sunderland.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa: Player to score or assist – Matheus Cunha @ 2.02

Cunha arrives at Old Trafford on Sunday fresh from arguably his most decisive performance in a Manchester United jersey. The Brazilian forward was the inspirational force behind the Red Devils’ 3-2 comeback win vs AS Roma in the Champions League, winning a penalty before scoring two goals. So confidence will be coursing through the veins, which is perfect before coming up against one of his favourite English opponents. Cunha scored on each of his last four appearances vs Aston Villa, a record that simply cannot be ignored. Add in the fact that Unai Emery’s team shipped seven goals in their previous three games, and you have a seriously good pre-match selection.
