Besiktas to beat Marseille @ 1.72
Marseille head to a hostile Istanbul atmosphere while on a run of three successive Ligue 1 defeats, which is far from ideal. Bruno Genesio’s side lost to AS Monaco (2-0), Paris FC (2-3) and Rennes (1-0), while Besiktas enjoyed success in each of their last three matches – including a huge 2-1 win at rivals Fenerbahce. Furthermore, Besiktas have won all six matches at the intimidating Tupras Stadium this season, so backing the Turkish team to taste sweet victory once again at a decent price looks the smart play here. Marseille also lost five of their last six competitive away games, a woeful run that we just cannot see improving this week.
Real Sociedad vs Bournemouth: Player to score or assist – Marcus Tavernier @ 2.25
Tavernier has made quite the start to the season. While Bournemouth are yet to tally a Premier League win under Marco Rose, the English attacker has three goals in four top-flight matches – two of them recorded away from home. So he will have his crosshairs firmly locked on a Real Sociedad defence which suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Atletico Madrid on the weekend, and has kept just one clean sheet in six La Liga matches this season. Tavernier is also one of Bournemouth’s designated set-piece specialists, which firmly increases his chances of delivering a first assist of 2026-27!
AC Milan vs Benfica: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.57
This a battle between two of Europe’s biggest clubs, each with a rich history in the Champions League. But the latest meeting takes place in the Europa League, and we are backing goals at both ends in San Siro. Both teams scored in three of AC Milan’s four Serie A matches this term after the 2-2 draw at Lazio on the weekend. The selection also landed in eight of Benfica’s 12 games across all competitions in 2026-27, including both legs of their Europa League play-off vs AGF. You have to go back to February for the last time Benfica failed to score in a competitive match, while Milan tallied at least one goal in their previous six top-flight games. All the signs point toward a goal-filled evening in Italy!
Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan: Anytime goalscorer – Jorgen Strand Larsen @ 2.14
Strand Larsen netted his first Premier League goal of the season on the weekend, albeit in a 3-2 loss to Ipswich. The strike follows his brace in the 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup, signs that the Norwegian is starting to find his feet in a Palace jersey. With issues still surrounding Jean-Philippe Mateta’s situation at the club, expect Strand Larsen to start once again when Lech Poznan visit Selhurst Park. The Polish side arrive on the back of a 2-1 loss at Gornik Zabrze, keeping just one clean sheet in the last five matches across all competitions. So backing Palace’s big No9 to deliver another decisive blow looks a solid pre-match selection.
